Educator - Part Time
Seeking outgoing, energetic people with some teaching experience and a degree in biology, education or marine science to present educational programs, including on-site, travel outreach and possibly on our research vessel, OCEANIC. Flexible hours, some weekends or late afternoons may be required. Must have valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record and able to lift 60 lbs. of equipment. Spanish speaking and ability to teach middle and high school students a plus. Gift Shop Supervisor
We are seeking a person with excellent customer service and supervisory skills for our unique and beautiful gift shop at the Maritime Aquarium. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required. Position will be responsible for retail sales goals, guest relations, general accounting work, shop appearance and cleanliness. Should be able to work a varied schedule including weekends, and occasional holidays. Competitive wage will be commensurate with skills, experience and ability to perform job responsibilities. Sales Associates/Cashiers/Ushers – Part time
$9.00 per hour. Excellent opportunity for responsible, outgoing, energetic individual with great customer service skills and strong command of the English language. Cash handling experience and computer literacy a must as well as ability to comfortably interact with large number of guests. Position requires you to be able to stand on your feet for the workday and to work one weekend day and some holidays.
