Sand Tiger Shark Fun Fact

Looks closely at the sand tiger sharks in the "Ocean Beyond the Sound" exhibit. Their snout and jaws are covered in tiny holes. These are receptors for the sharks' "sixth sense" – their ability to detect bioelectric fields emitted by other animals (including potential prey).

All badge-achievement programs completely fulfill the requirements for that badge. (The Maritime Aquarium, however, does not issue badges.)

Other than Sleepovers, programs described below do not include Maritime Aquarium admission. However, discount coupons will be given for use toward admission on the day of your program.

Troops must supply 1 adult for every 7 Scouts, and there must be at least 7 Scouts in a program. $5 charge for each extra adult or sibling over 2 years old.
