Sand Tiger Shark Fun Fact

Look closely at the sand tiger sharks in the "Ocean Beyond the Sound" exhibit. Their snout and jaws are covered in tiny holes. These are receptors for the sharks' "sixth sense" – their ability to detect bioelectric fields emitted by other animals (including potential prey).

Fish Tales: Story Time 

When: 10:15 - 11 a.m. each Friday

Where: Cascade Cafe

Price: Free with Aquarium admission

Fish Tales is an interactive story time for toddlers and parents/caregivers. Each week, we'll sing songs and rhymes, dance and read books with Aquarium Educators, and maybe even meet an animal ambassador! Space is limited to the first 20 children. Parent/caregiver must be present.
