We are in the process of compiling a database of educational resources on Long Island Sound (and adjacent marine and terrestrial ecosystems) - specifically pertaining to its natural history and historical use. Although we are restricted in the amount of information we can incorporate into our website, we will endeavor to post materials that we determine to be most relevant. Thank you.

PUBLICATIONS - OTHER READING
Scuba Northeast: Shipwrecks, Dive Sites & Dive Activities, by Robert Bachand
Diver-authors who write about a favorite shipwreck whet the appetite yet seldom give its exact location. It was in response to this frustration that Robert Bachand set out to write SCUBA NORTHEAST. This book includes selected shipwrecks and dive sites of Rhode Island to New Jersey. As much as possible, the exact position of wrecks has been included. Wrecks of course, are not the sole reason many dive. The northeast waters also harbor a profuse and diverse marine life, giving sightseers, underwater photographers and "food collectors" additional reason for pursuing this great sport. (Adapted from Foreword)
