It's all within an easy walk of the [train] station too – including The Maritime Aquarium, the one relatively new building in the group and the one that enables grownups to enjoy browsing and shopping while still entertaining the children."

May 2015 Offerings at The Maritime Aquarium

We're all aflutter to tell you that The Maritime Aquarium will have a big butterfly focus this summer … and it all starts Memorial Day Weekend with the opening of "Flutter Zone," a walkthrough butterfly encounter, and the IMAX movie "Flight of the Butterflies," which focuses on the amazing migrations of monarch butterflies.  We'll also open a milkweed garden and explain how you can grow one too to help our local monarch butterflies.

More good stuff in May includes fun new public programs for kids and families, horseshoe crab taggings (come out & help us!), Long Island Sound Day and our cool new exhibit "Dragons! Real or Myth?"  Get the press release here.
