Dr. Brian Davis Elected as New President of Maritime Aquarium

Dr. Brian Davis will be the seventh president of The Maritime Aquarium, succeeding Jennifer Herring upon her retirement at the end of 2014.   Dr. Davis joins The Maritime Aquarium from Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, where is currently vide president of education and training and a member of the executive team reporting to the executive director.  Dr. Davis has been a key visionary in exhibits, visitor experience and education at the Georgia Aquarium. He was just the eighth team member to join the Georgia Aquarium staff in 2003, two years prior to its opening as – at the time – the world's largest aquarium.   Get the press release here.
