On Thursday April 28, 2011, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will celebrate its 12th year of the Red Apple Awards Dinner, our signature gala event that directly benefits environmental education for children in underserved schools across the region.
The centerpiece of the Aquarium’s commitment to marine science and environmental education, the Red Apple Fund is the educational outreach and financial assistance program for students and teachers.
The Red Apple Awards honor both the legacy and on-going work of individuals, organizations, foundations and businesses in education and environmental stewardship. We also recognize outstanding commitments to underserved communities, traditions of philanthropy and public service.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind cocktail party in the Aquarium’s galleries,
sit-down dinner under the ‘big top’ and Silent and Live Auction as we make a difference
for the 130,000 schoolchildren who benefit from The Maritime Aquarium each year.
