Feeding Tips and How You Can Help! |
Seals have delicate digestive tracks and are fed a carefully balanced meal of fish and protein. They can become ill, if they eat the kind of foods we eat, so remember never to feed the seals yourself. Also, to ensure that you enjoy watching our seals eat, and they don’t return to the water too soon, please refrain from making noise and sudden movements during their feeding. |

About Harbor Seals |
True seals lack external ear flaps, have stout, round bodies, and are unable to rotate their hind flippers under their bodies. Harbor seals first appeared in the North Pacific two to three million years ago when the Bering Strait formed.
