The Friends Society is comprised of leadership supporters who are committed to environmental awareness, education, and stewardship of Long Island Sound. As a member of the Friends Society, you will play a personal role in The Maritime Aquarium’s ability to:
Engage young minds in the study of science;
Deliver vital science resources to area schools and teachers;
Continually improve the scope and quality of exhibits; and
Ensure that everyone has access to The Maritime Aquarium.
Your participation in the Friends Society will help sustain our mission. In recognition of your support, you will gain a greater personal appreciation of the Aquarium and its collections through special access to our programs, staff, and special events.

Friends Society Membership Levels
All levels of membership in the Friends Society, beginning at the $1,000 Associate level, include: unlimited aquarium admission, invitations to IMAX screenings and exhibit previews, complementary invitation to special events; bulletins and activity reports, priority notice of Aquarium activities, and recognition in the Honor Roll of Donors.
