Teacher Appreciation Day

February 22, 2020

Educators and school administrators - and one guest! - will receive free admission to The Maritime Aquarium on “Teacher Appreciation Day” February 22 for the opportunities to learn how to use the Aquarium as a standards-fulfilling educational resource.teacher looking at a specimen through a microscope.

Educators can see demonstrations of some of the Aquarium’s most-popular education programs, offered for students from pre-K to high school. They also can preview IMAX movies and tour the Aquarium’s research vessel, R/V Spirit of the Sound, to learn about the unique educational opportunities aboard the first research vessel in the U.S. with quiet hybrid-electric propulsion. And they can talk with Aquarium educators to learn more about programs and professional development offerings.

In order to receive free admission educators must pre-register. Please print your e-ticket and bring your I.D. (school, work or name badge) with you to the Aquarium. The free admission offer does not include parking.
