Current Visitor Guidelines

Updated April 12, 2022

The health and safety of our guests and staff have always been and will remain the top priority of The Maritime Aquarium. We have implemented COVID-19 protocols based on Center for Disease Control (CDC) and state of Connecticut guidance while still ensuring our visitors enjoy an entertaining and educational experience.

As always, when you visit, our staff and signage will help guide you through the Aquarium so that you have a smooth experience, but there are some changes that you need to know both before you visit and while you are here.

Mask Requirements

The Maritime Aquarium is no longer requiring guests to wear masks while visiting. We continue to be a mask-supportive environment, as it is the best way to slow community spread.

The Maritime Aquarium reserves the right to deny access to our facility if a guest, member, employee or volunteer refuses to participate in these regulations at any time during their visit.

Vaccine Requirements

The Maritime Aquarium is not requiring proof of vaccination to visit, however, requirements for private and after-hour events may differ.
