EBT Discounts

The Maritime Aquarium offers discounts on admission for SNAP EBT participants to make sure that families and individuals can take advantage of the educational and cultural experiences available at The Maritime Aquarium without the cost of admission being a barrier.

SNAP EBT Discount for CT Residents

Connecticut residents participating in the state SNAP food-assistance program have a new eligibility benefit: deep discounts for admission to The Maritime Aquarium.

Residents showing their SNAP EBT card and CT ID at the door can receive Aquarium admission for just $3 per person, for up to 6 people. (No more than 2 of the 6 can be adults). The offer is valid year-round.

Please note: We do not accept state insurance cards, you must show a SNAP EBT card. 

Museums for All program

The Maritime Aquarium is also a proud member of Museums for All, a signature access program that encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. This program allows individuals nationwide who receive food assistance (SNAP) benefits to gain admission to the Aquarium for just $3 per person, for up to 6 people. (No more than 2 of the 6 can be adults). The offer is valid year-round. SNAP EBT card and photo ID are required.

Please Note

• EBT Cardholders will also receive a 30% discount in the Cascade and Sound Bites Cafés.
• These discounts are available for “walk-up” sales only; not for online advance reservations. 
• These offers do not include tickets to a 4D movie, which are an optional add-on at $7 per person, nor discounts in the Aquarium Gift Shop.
