Fish School: Free Open House for Educators

During this special evening, come learn how you can connect your students and curricula with The Maritime Aquarium's unique educational resources and programs, which help to fulfill state, Common Core and Next Generation Science standards.

During “Fish School,” teachers can join in a behind-the-scenes-tour and participate in demonstrations of some of the Aquarium’s most-popular education programs, offered for students from pre-K to high school.

Educators also can tour the Aquarium’s research vessel, R/V Spirit of the Sound, to learn about the unique educational opportunities aboard the first research vessel in the U.S. with quiet hybrid-electric propulsion.

See a free IMAX® movie! Choose from “Pandas" at 5 p.m. or “Backyard Wilderness" at 6 p.m.

Admission, light dinner and parking are all free. Teachers, administrators and other educators are welcome. As this is a professional event, no children or spouses, please.

Advance registration is required. Register online below or call our Reservations Department at (203) 852-0700, ext. 2206.
