Virtual Camp: Junior Conservation Biologist

Junior Conservation Biologist | Grades 3 - 5

1 P.M. TO 3 P.M. VIA ZOOM

The Aquarium isn’t just a place to see marine animals up-close. It’s also a vibrant science center dedicated to saving wildlife and habitats. In this five-session introduction to the Aquarium’s conservation work, children will meet the Aquarium’s marquee animals and the staff dedicated to protecting sand tiger sharks, horseshoe crabs, corals, sea turtles and seals. Each day will include behind-the-scenes visits and age-appropriate science touching on ecology, anatomy, physiology, and climate.

  • Monday: Turtles

  • Tuesday: Sharks & Bony Fish

  • Wednesday: Cnidarians: Corals, Jellies & Anemones

  • Thursday: Arthropods: Horseshoe Crabs, Lobsters & More

  • Friday: Seals & Otters
