Girl Scouts Day at The Maritime Aquarium offers admission discounts, plus special educational programs that help to fulfill badge requirements, as well as other educational opportunities for Girl Scouts.

All Girl Scouts must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or troop leader.

Advance registration is required for badge programs and to receive discounted admission. Register online below or by calling our Reservations Department at 203.852.0700 extension 2206 Mon. through Fri. between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Girl Scout Day Admission Prices

Aquarium admission includes a Girl Scout Day patch. Aquarium Members can purchase a Girl Scout Day patch for $2. 

Please Note: Admission tickets MUST be purchased in advance online. In order to manage our capacity in adherence with state guidelines, guests will need to select an arrival time ahead of their visit while purchasing tickets.

Children (ages 3-12): $16
Adults (13+): $20
Seniors (65+): $18

Programs

Program prices do not include admission to the Aquarium (must be purchased separately.) Cost is the same for both Aquarium Members and non-Members. 

Daisy and Brownie Eco Tour
Time: 10:15 - 11 A.m.
Cost: $8

Girls will learn how animals and humans alike need clean water to have a healthy life. Through a guided exploration of the Aquarium, we will understand how trash makes its way into the water, and how that can affect our animals and us. By the end of our time together, we will have brainstormed ways that we can keep trash out of the water! This program will help complete requirements for Eco Learner (Daisy) and Eco Friend (Brownie) Badges. Click Here to Register

Junior to Ambassador Conservation Tour
Time: 10:15 - 11 A.m.
Cost: $8

During our guided exploration of the aquarium, we will learn more about the animals we have on exhibit and how the natural world is important for animals and humans. We will discuss some real-world issues that are affecting nature, and what we as a community and individuals can do to help conserve our amazing planet. This program will help complete requirements for Senior Voice for Animals badge, Ambassador Water badge, Junior Eco Trekker badge, and Senior Eco Explorer badge. Click Here to Register

Wonders of Water Journey - Brownies
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $10

Girls will dive into the wonderful world of water to discover how water makes the world what it is. Through a series of activities, we will explore how water has shaped the earth, how water moves around the world, and just how important water is for humans. This program will help complete requirements for the Wonders of Water Journey for Brownies. Click Here to Register

3 Cheers for Animals Journey - daisies
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Cost: $8

Through a series of activities, girls will learn what animals need to survive, and how we are able to take the best care of animals at the aquarium. We will adventure to the “fish kitchen”, meet an ambassador animal, and help feed education animals! This program will help complete requirements for the Daisy 3 Cheers for Animals Journey, and the Brownie Pets Badge. Click Here to Register

Animal Habitats Badge - juniors
Time: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $10

Using the variety of animal habitats at the aquarium, we will explore how animals are uniquely adapted to live in different habitats throughout the world. We will also investigate how the earth’s habitats are changing, and what may happen to animals if they are not able to survive in their new homes. This program helps complete requirements for the Junior Animal Habitats badge. Click Here to Register

Think like a citizen scientist journey - daisies & brownies
Time: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $10

Girls will become scientists for the day! We will learn how scientists are able to study animals in their natural habitats, then practice our new skills at different exhibits in the aquarium. We will finish our time going outside to observe and identify birds to record in our database. This program will help complete requirements for Daisy and Brownie Think Like a Scientist Journey. Click Here to Register
