Statement in support of local laws banning/restricting plastic grocery bags

NORWALK, CT  –  In light of the City of Norwalk considering a ban on plastic “carryout” bags, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk celebrates such municipal efforts and encourages other communities to take up the cause. Maureen Hanley Selected as Maritime Aquarium's New President/CEO

NORWALK, CT  –  Maureen Hanley, a businesswoman with extensive professional and charitable involvement in Fairfield County, is the new president and chief executive officer of The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. New "Just Add Water" exhibit adds monkeys, porcupine, macaws and more

Maritime Aquarium eliminates nearly all single-use plastics

NORWALK, CT  –  As a leader in Long Island Sound and ocean conservation, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is doing its part for the environment by significantly reducing its employ of single-use plastics.
