Construction on new seal exhibit and 4D theater begins in mid-November 2019

NORWALK, CT  –  The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will begin construction of a 4D movie theater and a large new seal exhibit in mid-November, part of the popular attraction’s advance response to the rebuilding of an adjacent railroad bridge. Statement in support of local laws banning/restricting plastic grocery bags

NORWALK, CT  –  In light of the City of Norwalk considering a ban on plastic “carryout” bags, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk celebrates such municipal efforts and encourages other communities to take up the cause. Maritime Aquarium eliminates nearly all single-use plastics

NORWALK, CT  –  As a leader in Long Island Sound and ocean conservation, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is doing its part for the environment by significantly reducing its employ of single-use plastics.
