Special admission offer for kids Oct. 27 & 28 as Maritime Aquarium transforms into the AquaScarium

NORWALK, CT – Kids in costume can get free admission to The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on the weekend before Halloween when the popular family attraction transforms into the AquaScarium. Fourth Sea Turtle Killed by Boat Strike in Long Island Sound

NORWALK, CT  –  A fourth sea turtle has been killed by a boat strike in Long Island Sound – the third such incident in the Milford/Stratford area this summer. A three-foot loggerhead turtle was found on Fri., Sept. 21 washed up at Silver Sands State Park, the apparent victim of an encounter with a boat propeller. Aquarium to begin construction of new 4D theater, exhibit replacement this fall

NORWALK, CT  –  The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will begin construction of a 4D movie theater and replacement exhibits this fall, part of the popular attraction’s advance response to the rebuilding of an adjacent railroad bridge. New "Just Add Water" exhibit adds monkeys, porcupine, macaws and more

Maritime Aquarium eliminates nearly all single-use plastics

NORWALK, CT  –  As a leader in Long Island Sound and ocean conservation, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is doing its part for the environment by significantly reducing its employ of single-use plastics.
